On December 16,2023 The Ladies’ Literary Club of Ypsilanti Michigan celebrated and honored three young women. It was truly heart-warming to witness the joy and excitement on the faces of the award recipients and their families at the Barbara Weiss Scholarship Awards ceremony. The venue, one of the beautiful historical homes in Ypsilanti, added to the charm and elegance of the event.
The Ladies Literary Club of Ypsilanti Michigan Foundation has been doing an incredible job over the years by supporting young women who demonstrate outstanding leadership, health, and community service. The Barbara Weiss Scholarship Award, in particular, is a great way to honor the memory of a past president of the club who was a true champion of volunteerism.
It was amazing to see the hard work and dedication of Juliana Ramirez, Amelia Rohim, and Zahira McAdam being recognized and rewarded with this prestigious scholarship. The event was filled with warm networking, good food, and great associations, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance. Overall, it was a pleasure to be a part of such a
wonderful event that celebrates the achievements of young women and encourages them to pursue their dreams with passion and dedication.
