The purpose of the Neighborhood Meetings is to get up to date and useful information to Township residents regarding health, safety, resources and events happening in and around the township.
Each meeting consists of a Washtenaw County Sheriff's Deputy to address any concerns. They will also provide some tips on general safety issues. Township representatives are available to talk about current events such as waste disposal, road construction projects, where to report potholes, recreation activities, and resources available to Township residents. Each meeting will include a handout highlighting events and services in the Township. On occasion, there will be a guest speaker or topic of special interest to each community. There is always time for residents to ask questions to the Sheriff's Deputy or the Township representatives.
We always encourage residents to get out and talk to their neighbors and get to know the people around them.
