Ypsilanti's Resilient Spirit: A Community on the Rise to Celebrate Grand Opening of University Bank
University Bank has a long history of involvement in Ypsilanti. For more than 3 decades University Bank has helped Ypsilanti community groups with funding, grants, and volunteer work.
“We are dedicated to making banking easy and accessible for everyone in Ypsilanti." Ranzini explained.
With the opening of our new branch in Downtown Ypsilanti, we are excited to continue our mission of supporting our community and helping you achieve your financial goals.
During the opening celebration, on June 24, 2024. Stephen Ranzini, President of University Bank shared his heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome he received upon moving to Ypsilanti. He spoke with admiration about the vibrant community that tirelessly strives for success. This strong sense of unity, resilience, and unwavering hope lies at the heart of Ypsilanti’s achievements.
One of the standout moments reflecting this spirit was the success of the housing program launched a few years back. It not only provided essential support but also connected community members and local advocates, who turned out for the program's grand opening. Their enthusiasm and commitment underscored the collective dedication to nurturing a thriving environment for all.
President Stephen Ranzini articulated several inspiring goals during the event. Ranzini envisioned fostering even stronger ties within the community, enhancing economic opportunities, and ensuring that every resident who lives in Ypsilanti has a place to call home.
Part of the commitment to supporting homeownership in the community, University Bank, in collaboration with Mortgage division, University Lending Group, is offering a $10,000 grant to eligible homebuyers in Ypsilanti. Ranzini believes in making homeownership more accessible and helping individuals and families achieve their dreams of owning a home. Ranzini continues building a prosperous future for Ypsilanti, driven by collaboration and shared aspirations.
