Let’s celebrate Like Community at the Ypsi HoliFest, on Saturday, December 23rd, from 10 am to 10 pm in the heart of Downtown Ypsilanti on Michigan Avenue.

Visit Downtown Ypsilanti on December 23rd for a day of festivities and good cheer, featuring music, lights, Santa, and carolers, all day! Discover the perfect gifts for your friends and loved ones during the last holiday shopping weekend. Immerse yourself in the spirit of giving.

The Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority (DDA) along with Washtenaw County, Destination Ann Arbor, Spark East, and other key supporters are proud to sponsor this event.

“We believe it is important to show the love we have for our community residents, visitors, and businesses by creating an atmosphere of beauty, good cheer, and high spirits, where people will enjoy the time they spend shopping, dining, and entertaining with friends and family in a way that is about community, not just transactions,” says Patton Doyle, DDA Board Chair.

Festival visitors will be greeted with cheerful music, beautiful greenery, and twinkling lights, a Sleigh Ride picture station, and strolling carolers. Santa will also join us, making stops at different locations along his route. Bring your wish list letters and get a selfie!

Participating restaurants and stores will offer extended hours from 10 am to 10 pm. This will be a great time for last-minute shopping for distinctive and special items all along Michigan Avenue and throughout the City of Ypsilanti.

Don’t forget to wear your Ugly Sweater! You may receive a discount or special from participating venues.
