Greetings, Ypsilanti Press readers,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for subscribing to our online newspaper.
I am so grateful that you have helped us reach our first milestone, a mixed audience of over ten thousand viewers.
This project started because of the need for the voice of the community to be heard, the need to support small businesses, and the need to change the negative narrative that some people feed on. A negative narrative stops growth, innovation, opportunities, creativity, and positive experiences.
One thing that I love about Ypsilanti is that it is Resilient no matter what happens or who comes and goes. This town builds on its inner strength and the people who live here do the same. The people who live in Ypsilanti are resilient, hard-working and family oriented. Of course, every city has its challenges. However, in Ypsilanti, the community focuses on the positive things that make Ypsilanti a great place to live, work, and play. Let’s continue to support positive news that will grow, inspire, and empower our unique community.
As you obtain information from the newspaper please give us feedback. Let us know what you would like to see more of or less. Understand that I love to travel outside of Ypsilanti because I know that you travel as well. So share your gems of food, wine, entertainment, and shopping experiences. Lately, I have traveled to Tokyo, Japan. Talk about an amazing experience. An experience I will never forget. I have attached a few pictures that I think you will like.
There are many benefits when you travel outside your comfort zone. When you allow yourself to experience other cultures your perspective on life changes. You simply grow to new heights and you can never go back to a lower level of knowledge. I invite you to continue on the journey with Ypsilanti Press together and grow to new heights.
