Washtenaw Economic Club hosts MICHauto leader Glenn Stevens for mobility, EV presentation on May 23
ANN ARBOR, Michigan (May 14, 2024) – The Washtenaw Economic Club will host its May luncheon event of 2024 with a session focused on mobility and electric vehicles.
The Thursday, May 23, meeting, titled “Big Picture 2024 - Mobility and Electric Vehicle Transformations,” will feature Glenn Stevens Jr., MICHauto Executive Director and Detroit Regional Chamber Vice President, Automotive and Mobility Initiatives. The meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Morris Lawrence Building on the Washtenaw Community College campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive.
The event will include a presentation by Stevens on the state of mobility and electric vehicle transformations in Michigan and nationally, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session.
With more than 30 years of experience in management and strategy across industries including automotive, steel, chemicals and capital equipment, Stevens leads MICHauto in its mission to advance Michigan’s automotive and mobility sectors. His focus areas include talent development, advocacy, startup innovation and fostering the digital economy. Stevens also spearheads strategic fundraising and investor engagement efforts.
The Washtenaw Economic Club, hosted by Washtenaw Community College, welcomes the public to participate by either becoming a member of the Club or purchasing available individual tickets per event.

- November 7 – “Insider’s Look at the Election Results and Their Impact on You!” featuring capitol correspondent Tim Skubick.
