Bringing awareness to the residents of Southeastern Michigan who are disabled is crucial for them to receive the support they need. On Wednesday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT), United Way is hosting a town hall event featuring esteemed panelists from organizations dedicated to disability rights and inclusion.
Our panelists include leaders from prominent organizations dedicated to disability rights and inclusion:
· Disability Network of Washtenaw, Monroe, & Livingston
· Michigan Disability Rights Coalition
· Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council
Viewers will learn, share, and connect with fellow advocates and community members.

WHAT: United Way for Southeastern Michigan continues to connect families in our region to reliable information and helpful resources. These “What’s the Word Wednesday” town halls are part of a series addressing vital topics. Partnering with experts from government, education and nonprofits, these 30-minute or sometimes 45-minute interactive conversations address timely issues for everyone.
