NETWORK WITH WOMEN IN STEM
Join us for a free virtual networking event created for early career professionals and interns/college students. Attendees will hear from three accomplished professionals with a range of experiences and expertise in STEM professions and then be able to meet with them individually in three breakout groups.
Brandy Goolsby has more than 20 years of experience spanning OEMs and embedded software companies, Brandy has held high-impact roles at industry-leading companies, including Wind River Systems, Ford Motor Co., Stellantis, and General Motors. She currently is Director of Business Development and Sales, Embedded Software,for Vector North America, which develops embedded software and systems for multiple industries. Brandy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Shaelese King is Associate Manager Technology, VP Head of Technology & Operations Early Talent Programs managing the Technology & Operations Summer Intern Program and the Rotation Program based in Auburn Hills and Plano, Texas. Shaelese started in customer service in Comerica Banking Centers and transitioned into technology in 2011 through the technical professional analyst program.She holds a BS in CIS from Davenport University and an MS in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University.
Chelsea Whiteside studied finance and accounting at Grand Valley State University. She worked in commercial lending at Mercantile Bank for two years, and then joined Steelcase as a finance business partner. After working in finance for nearly a decade, she decided to follow her passion and move into a rotational role in Operations in 2020. This allowed her to holistically learn the landscape of operations, while serving in roles including Materials Manager and Plant Manager.
