Submit Your Proposal for TechEX25 - Dec. 8-12, Denver, CO

The 2025 Internet2 Technology Exchange (TechEX25) brings together IT leaders and decision-makers to address emerging technological issues facing the research and higher education (R&E) community. The event is a vital forum for collaboration, learning, and advancing shared work within the technical community.

We recognize that many in the R&E community are navigating financial uncertainty, with shifting budgets and limited travel funds. As we continuously monitor the evolving landscape and plan for TechEX25 in December, we are committed to delivering a valuable, high-quality experience that supports your goals, fosters meaningful connections, and provides actionable insights.

Your participation makes this event meaningful. In times of change, the R&E community grows stronger by coming together.

To encourage broader participation, we are expanding the range of submission types this year while maintaining focus on core track areas:

  • Advanced Networking
  • Cloud Technology
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Information Security

The submission deadline is May 9. Learn more and submit a proposal.

Here is what your peers are saying about TechEX:

“People come to Technology Exchange eager to learn about IT trends, network with each other, and find ways to enhance IT at their institutions. Attendees are passionate about sharing knowledge with one another, but someone has to start the conversation. Why not you?” - Kari Robertson, University of California Office of the President

"Technology Exchange provides a great opportunity to reframe challenges and identify new opportunities to take back to my institution. As I think about what makes this conference unique, I believe the deeper technical dives create a space for conversations that bridge the strategic and operational lenses." - Andrew Buker, University of Nebraska System

“What keeps me coming back to Technology Exchange is right in the name — the Exchange. I always tell my folks this is the kind of event where you can really dive into your area of interest but also walk across the hall and get exposed to a whole new world you may not have dabbled in. It is a great way to break down silos within an organization and open up your mind to see what overlaps, what kinds of collaborations can be possible, and see what others are working on.” - Damian Doyle, University of Virginia
