We're helping you get rid of unwanted firearms

My name is Rev. Tom Ferguson

From Saint Aidan’s Episcopal church at 1679 Broadway in Ann Arbor.

On October 11th from 9am-1pm, we are exchanging unwanted firearms for gift cards at our church. We destroy them while the person waits and we turn them into artworks

Last year we took in 98 weapons including 2 assault weapons. Many of the folks we see are very relieved to have these firearms safely destroyed and out of their lives.

This is the only event like it in Washtenaw County.

We see this buyback as important symbol of pastoral care and making our world safer.

The event starts at 9 am and ends at 1pm.

At 12 pm we are presenting an award to one of our state representatives for their work in safe gun legislation.
